Finally the leopard has been captured & rescued safely
A leopard spotted in Bommanahalli Krishnareddy area of Bangalore was captured.
The leopard, which was spotted in the AECS layout of Singasandra near the Electronic City of Bangalore, has finally fallen into the forest department's trap after three days, and the locals have heaved a sigh of relief.
On the night of October 27, the leopard was spotted roaming near the apartment complex on CCTV, and since then the leopard has not been seen.
The task force personnel had undertaken an operation to capture the background of the appearance of the leopard. At this time, Dhanraj, a staff member of the task force, was injured by a leopard attack. Due to the leopard attack, Dhanraj was injured in his leg and stomach and was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
This morning, near Kudlu Gate of Bommanahalli in Anekal taluk, the residents of Krishna Reddy Barangay had seen the presence of a leopard in the under-construction building. The worried locals immediately informed the forest department staff.
At this time, the forest department staff administered anesthetic injection to the leopard. But the leopard, unyielding even after being poked, jumped from one part of the building to another and attacked the doctor and forest department personnel and escaped.
The forest officials have finally captured the leopard by tracking its movements using the latest technology.
